StarBand boosts upload speed

StarBand launches the first true consumer/SOHO satellite service to achieve DSL-level.

While the 1-Mbps-plus downloads and 256-Kbps maximum uploads of StarBand Communications' new 484 Small Office Service fall short of most cable-modem connection rates, they more than double typical satellite service levels and exceed the 861-Kbps national average for wired DSL download speeds.
