Internet-service provider Earthlink Inc. on Tuesday launched a service that enables high-speed subscribers to make unlimited voice calls through their computers at no additional charge.

The EarthLink Free Online Calling service includes dialer software from Xten Networks, called X-Lite softphone, that features speed dial, caller ID, three-way calling, basic hold capability and call logs.
