Mac users get 10000 free WiFi minutes through Skype promo
If you're both a Skype fan and a Mac user who travels, Skype's latest promotion with Boingo may be of interest to you. The VoIP company announced recently that it would begin giving away 10,000 minutes of free WiFi access to Mac users in order to promote its new Skype Access service. The promotion will run through March 23.
For those catching up, Skype Access is Skype's latest partnership with Boingo. It allows those who use Skype to pay for Boingo's WiFi hotspot with Skype credits, basically allowing you to pay once to cover multiple services. Boingo has more than 100,000 hotspots worldwide, and they are particularly popular in airports here in the US.

Internet connections while RVing
The best choice, IMHO- Full timers or "most-timers" are seeking a 24/7 Internet access connection (or as close to 24/7 as they can get). They want RV connectivity at any park. They want access when they are boondocking or in remote locations. They need to send email, do their online banking, look up directions and do the usual web browsing. Ideally, they would like to be online while going down the road. One way to go is to use a cell phone and/or wireless provider for Internet access. Wireless providers include companies like Verizon Wireless, Sprint, AT&T, T-Mobile, etc.
In its simplest form, you use the cell phone, PDA (Personal Digital Assistants) or integrated PDA/cell phone display screen to retrieve email and web browsing. Internet access is through the wireless provider, using one of their various monthly plans. The array of features for smart phones and other portable devices grows daily. There are different sizes and designs for displays, and different types of graphic or text-based browser options. Auxiliary keyboards and other accessories make these devices easier to use on their own or as an adjunct to a more permanent PC.

Unique aiming guide for RV satellite dish
We discovered a very useful tool in aiming your satellite dish when you visit a camping site and suggest that you get your bookmark button ready. Dishpointer.com is a website that will allow you to enter an address, geo coordinates or selected location on Google maps, then select your satellite (ex: 110 or 119) and read the proper elevation, azimuth and skew. You also will see a line on the satellite map, so that you can aim your dish at landmarks where you are located.
