HP’s new wireless Mobile Mouse connects via your PC’s Wi-Fi receiver—no USB dongle required. This format is more compatible than Bluetooth, making it available to a wider audience—not to mention you won’t have to worry about losing the USB stick.

The Wi-Fi Mobile Mouse offers nine months of battery life, 30 feet of freedom, and 1200 or 1600 dpi pointer speeds. There are five customizable buttons: The right and left click, scroll button (which also provides vertical and horizontal scrolling), and right and left browser buttons. The sides are made of soft rubber and the top looks like it’s a glossy plastic. The mouse is also symmetrical, so righties and lefties will be able to make full use of it.

The HP Wi-Fi Mobile Mouse is slated for release in June for $49.99.
